Shinichi Kaneko, who holds an M.F.A. in Design from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2001), explores the theme of "interconnectedness" in his art. He metaphorically depicts connected limbs, drawing inspiration from Ukiyo-e Shunga, and expresses these concepts across various media including sculpture, painting, and drawing. His extensive exhibition history includes numerous solo shows at venues such as Gallery Miyasaka (2005–2024) and Daikanyama Tsutaya (2022), as well as participation in significant group exhibitions like MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL (2024) and East Asia Culture City – China-Japan-Korea Sculpture Invitational Exhibition (2023). Since 2018, his drawings have also been prominently featured in monthly advertisements for iichiko shochu.
