Carma is a French-Portuguese artist whose work blends storytelling with the art of
various craftsmanship. After studying cinema in France and jewelry in Belgium, she
brought her multidisciplinary expertise into the creative industries, working across
design, artistic direction, and production in both gaming, jewelry and object-based
art.

Intuition and collaboration are central to her creative process, as she works closely
with others, grounding each approach with research into cultures, artifacts, diverse
antique books, or even poetry to create a meaningful symbolic dialogue. For Carma,
creation is a sensory journey meant to awaken and immerse, a space where emotion
and experience anchors you into one tangible feeling.

After several years working in high jewelry, Carma is now creating Sossegade, her
first personal project at the intersection of fine art, craftsmanship, and high jewelry.
Inspired by the Portuguese word sossegado, which evokes in its definition a sense of
calm, stillness, and inner peace, Sossegade reflects on time, and the soul’s quiet
presence in daily life. Drawing on all she has learned through her experience with
exceptional craftsmanship, Carma channels her practice into the creation of rare,
unique high jewelry collectibles. Each carrying its own story, intention, and quiet
resonance.
