GHOSTCHARCOALS’ portraits reflect a personal engagement with the raw and the immediate. Each drawing is created in a single session, always in one go. In the artist’s personal reflection, the works reveal his restlessness and urgency in engaging with the paper. This energy appears in the brushstrokes, in pieces that often feel “unfinished.” Within this uneasy, agitated, and uncomfortable state lies a fertile ground for resilience.
