“Jinsei Gal-iro: QOL” is a sensory journey that fuses gyaru spirit with Eastern healing to celebrate the sacred chaos of being fully, vibrantly alive.

“Jinsei Gal-iro: QOL” (The Gal-Toned Life: Quality of Life) is an exhibition that expresses the journey of an artist who once lived as a gyaru and now channels that vibrant spirit into healing. “Gal-iro” means “in the colors of gyaru,” a lifestyle that celebrates full-spectrum self-expression—loud, soft, raw, sacred, bold. This exhibition weaves the energetic essence of gyaru culture with the ancient wisdom of Eastern medicine, including the Five Elements theory (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) and the concept of Yin and Yang, exploring how balance, emotion, and energy shape our Quality of Life (QOL).

I believe healing doesn’t have to be silent or pale—it can be neon, sparkly, chaotic, messy, and sacred. This is a reflection of my own contradictions: the collision of gyaru culture and spiritual practice, chaos and peace, surface and depth. Through art, scent, sound, touch, color, and human connection, I aim to create a space where visitors return to their senses, their elements, and their inner colors. Your life’s palette—your QOL—is sacred. Your energy is art.
