Where Silenced Landscapes Speak—A Defiant Act of Artistic Vision Against the Erasure of Memory.

For his Tokyo debut, he brings a show that was denied a public viewing in China - a mixed media project that revolves around the hypernormalization of Shanghai’s older urban landscape. "Leave Blank" wants to test the boundaries between photographic truth and a creative reality.

Referring to “留白“, the negative space left purposefully in ancient Chinese paintings, Leave Blank deals with the implications of censorship and the challenge of artistic subversion. Working together with 32 China-based creators, he wants to show that there is still room to dream.
