Hugo Yoshikawa

Hugo Yoshikawa is an artist, designer, and illustrator recognized for his vibrant linework and flat, colorful compositions influenced by Franco-Belgian comics. His work often incorporates wonky angles and a surreal approach to perspective, with central themes of plants, nature, travel, and everyday joys. After studying at Camberwell College of Arts and working in advertising in Madrid and Tokyo, Hugo transitioned to a full-time artistic practice in Barcelona. Now based in Tokyo, he continues to evolve his unique style from his own studio.
