Standing in the garden through morning, afternoon, and evening, I sometimes feel a quiet sense of relief-I’m glad I came here-as I watch the shifting landscape unfold. The way light arrives, the sound of birdsong, the rustling of wind through plants, the colors of flowers, and a small cosmos-like world in constant transformation gently reach my body, bringing small discoveries into everyday life.
In this exhibition, I begin with these sensations received in the garden. Through washi paper and indigo, I trace the presence and patterns of light that cannot be seen directly. Attuning myself to the subtle changes that appear and disappear in daily life, I attempt to capture each fleeting moment in form.
