Coming Up at the Gallery: JULY

For the rainy season of July, we have a couple of events we hope you’ll join.

July 1 - Supper Club

with Nodoka Yamaura and Chef Masha

Our Supper Clubs are member-exclusive evenings that we host every exhibition. During these dinners, people from different industries come together and share their stories and connect with the creative world by being surrounded by the featured artist’s works. We provide a full-course meal with emerging chefs who would like to share their passion as well.

We’re starting this month off big with our next edition of the Supper Club featuring artist Nodoka Yamaura and a returning chef, Masha!
We are inviting all KURA Members to a special evening that brings together Japanese tradition and modern art, food, and community.
Masha will create a multi-course dinner inspired by her travels and a unique mix of experiences.

July 25 - Tokyo x Hong Kong contemporary poetry reading & dialogue

With poets traveling in from Hong Kong, this will be our first time hosting this group. There will be poets sharing their works in Chinese and English, with Japanese poets there to translate. We’re very excited to bring together those from the poetry community.

July 31 - Opening: Mikkeller: 20 Years of Beer and Art

To end the month and start August, the beer brand Mikkeller will be serving its beer for a couple of weeks at the KURA. It’s a great opportunity to drink quality craft beer, meet new people, and see the history between beer and art.
